Design Thinking Presentation
Define, Exchange, Empathy,

The presentation in the pit today fleshed out an opinion that what we call design thinking is the new regular thinking and we need to look for more to progress. As design facilitates change, we need to change design.

Step 2 is to get everyone on the same level - everyone is a designer
Which sounds great but would be a pretty big job - Our current education system  would need a serious make over and only the few and fortune can afford an education.

We are ultimately aiming to naturalise design.



We also explored empathy and how it is subjective to your personal ideological baggage.

Personally, i've been told this before, and see the benefits of stepping back and analysing from another perspective, but also feel that perspective is informed by our ideologies also.

I guess that's where the user testing comes in.
To lessen that subjectivity.


Mostly like I was a little over whelmed with all that information at 9am in the morning,
